Let’s be honest: a 19 year-old, Boston College drop-out from Kansas is probably the last kid you would expect to be in charge of a major publication. And that thinking is exactly why Patrick has become so successful.

A self-taught graphic, website, and layout designer, he thrives on exceeding expectations and being told he can’t. You won’t find him out at parties on the weekends, hitting up concerts, or in the stands at college sporting events. He’s the kid who spends his nights in the library with a backpack full of gadgets and books on design, programming, and – occasionally – philosophy.

And in-between planning meetings and steering the look and feel of Rez(life) Magazine, Patrick finds time to run a media company on the side and still sneak in a few hours of sleep every night (well, most nights). It’s not a schedule we would like to have, but there’s no point in telling him to slow down; it’ll only make him work harder.
